Cast Iron Fencing

We work closely with historical and contemporary installations of cast iron fencing. Both restoring the old and enhancing the new. Throughout the 20th century, iron cast fencing was removed from many parklands and estates to be utilised as scrap metal during the world wars. Now, with grants and funding, these features are being reinstated. If you’d like to learn more, then please call us now. We will be happy to explain more about these projects, as well as provide a free quote for your own.

Replication Projects

In cases where the only reference to these iron structures can be found is through photographs, we team up with local artists. Asking them to create moulds for us to create the metalwork from. Over the years, our team has been chosen time and time again to complete these projects, thanks to our accuracy and attention to detail. So whether you’re hoping to restore a public park, a country estate, or some other focal landmark, we can help. Even if there’s none of the original structure remaining.

Restoring Historical Landmarks

Usually, parts of a structure remain for us to work from. In these cases, we can either recreate the fences, gates or railings as they once were, or incorporate modern elements. The choice is completely up to you. Alternatively, we can restore the feature and add additional ironwork referencing the date of restoration, the location, or something else entirely.
